Finding Inspiration in Every Season

We are women on a mission to help other women & girls find freedom in their flow.

Our Story

The Peaceful Period Project is a labor of love.

Meet The Team

After years of suffering and being told everything I was going through was just "normal female problems", I finally stopped listening to the narrative and discovered that suffering in silence every month was not only unnecessary but far from what it actually means to feel & be healthy as a woman. I quickly learned that just because something is common, doesn't make it normal or OK.

This is why I created the Peaceful Period Project, a program to teach women that they don't have to suffer in silence because it is "normal" to do so. Our menstrual cycles don't have to be a life sentence of pain, shame & uncertainty. It's time we let go of the narrative that is no longer serving us & dive into our periods as a celebrated part of being a woman.

I struggled my whole life with irregular and painful periods, ovarian cysts, fibroids & auto-immune dis-eases. I also learned early on that my body hated birth control because every one I tired made me extremely ill. I struggled to get pregnant for a couple of years and it was such a painful time in my life. I thought there was something wrong with me. I kept thinking I was broken. When I finally conceived my daughter deep healing began on every layer and level of my being. I had always been one to question things but now I was questioning deeper things. I didn't want my daughter to suffer the same way I had with my body, so I started on a journey. Each step I took was a step towards freedom. As I followed each "Yes" I would discover new people and ways of healing myself. When I met Amy, my life changed for the better, and I knew I wanted to bring this healing to other women and girls.

3 Month Check in Testimonial:

"It's been a while since in checked in personally and OMG I just have to tell you that I've been on my period for a few days and other than a little depressive episode this morning, I have been functiong as normal!!! Like I have barely had cramps and I used geranium on my sore boobs (thanks for that tip!).

I guess when I started the PPP I thought it was going to take a long time to see results, but it has only been 3 months and I see a drastic difference!! Also, this period I started using a cup and just that has changed my life! Literally no cramps!!

I am so thankful for this class! Thank you so much for giving me the information and knowledge to heal myself and my family!"

I was never taught anything about period growing up, just what I learned on my own. I never want my daughter to feel trapped or like a stranger in her own body. I never want her to feel shame. I felt like if I was armed with good information, she would have a way better start than I did. What I ended up getting out of this program was way more than I could have ever imagined. It wasn't just about periods. It is a container where the energy gently guides you to a better version of self. It's about finding better ways to take care of yourself & manage stress. Gentle, non-toxic ways to support your mind and body. This is information you thought you knew but somehow hits differently. Amy is amazing and I am extremely grateful I said "yes" to this opportunity and to her. I found a part of myself that I think had been hidden my whole life.

I would be in bed for days at a time, cramps, uncontrollable emotions and rage, suicidal ideation and an absolute hate for myself and my body, especially my uterus. My periods were 10/10 bad.

And then 4 months ago I finally had ENOUGH, I knew things had to change and Amy dropped into my awareness. I joined her first round of The Peaceful Period Project and let me tell you, things have never been the same. I am THRIVING. I have an understanding of my body and hormones that I’ve never had before. I understand how to support my body and everything it goes through each month! I learned that taking care of myself is really the best thing I can do for myself and importantly I learned that everything I was experiencing was common but not normal and wow, what a shift. The last period I experienced, I can honestly rate it at 2/10. Can you even believe it??

I can because this shit is GOOD.
